Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev - President of Board of Directors

Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev is one of the founders of BRAKO and its President of Board of Directors.

He is born in Veles, Republic of Macedonia on 20th June, 1969.

In the period from 1998 till 1992 he studies on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje, and then from 1992 till 1995 is attending postgraduate studies on the same faculty where he specialize in mechanical science and emerged with Masters’ Degree.
His ambitions don’t end up here, and in 1998 he becomes Doctor of Technical Science.The professional experience of Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev is quite extensive and acquired in different branches.
At first, from 1993 till 1998 he works as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje responsible for organization and holding of exercises for students and science research work.
In 1996 he is guest science researcher at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Aachen - Germany, where he prepares the doctoral dissertation.
In 1998 he becomes Professor at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje, where he is teaching and taking part in many science research works.
Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev has published more then 100 scholarly works on international and domestic science symposiums, and also more then 50 realized projects in Industry, in the field of mechanical engineering and Industry.
He upgrades the working experience as a Professor in Loughborough, England where he comes in 1999 as a Visiting Professor at the local Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. There he is teaching Machine Dynamics and is taking part in the science research work.
From 2000 till 2002 he acts as Assistant General Director for production and management at Macedonian Electric Power Company (ESM). With his knowledge and organizational skills he is managing state electric power system and trading and exchange of electric energy, organizing the production of all power plants and also their maintenance, modernization and rehabilitation.
2003 is most active and most productive year for Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev. In this period he establishes the company FEROINVEST DOO export - import - Veles, which is part of the Consortium that got concession for 21 small hydroelectric power stations in Macedonia.
In the same year FEROINVEST becomes owner of 50% of the capital of company BRAKO. Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev becomes President of Board of Directors and is organizing the development and production in the three production facilities in Veles - Macedonia, Pancevo - Serbia and Vidin - Bulgaria. With this he manages to establish BRAKO as the leader in the Balkans in its branch.
In the mentioned year he first establishes representative office of EFT Group and then the firm EFT Macedonia which received license for trading electric energy. The investments in the energetics are also the part of the firm’s occupation.
As a result of the received 1.500.000 EUR Dutch Grant In 2007, the company BRAKO WEIGHPACK was established as a joint venture between BRAKO and a Dutch company for production of metal parts. The manager of the join venture is Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev.

Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev has also been a member of different professional bodies. He participated in the working of Management Board and General Assembly of Union for the Co-ordination of Transmission of Electricity (UCTE). He was a member of a General Assembly and Executive Committee of Regional Group for the Coordination of Electricity Transmission
in the South-East European Interconnected System (SUDEL), as well as the General Assembly of International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM).

Prof. Dr. Kocho Angjushev lives and works in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
