The electric charge bed is designed for the care of the ill in the intensive care unit. The bed enables the elevation of the part where the head of the patient rests, but the other part, where the patient’s legs rest, can be elevated as well. The elevation command is carried out by two sets of buttons that can be controlled by the patient. The bed is equipped with a safety fence on both sides which is important for the patient’s security.
